My name is Kayla Rognoni and I am a 2022 Summa Cum Laude graduate from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I earned a BFA in Dance, as well as a Minor in Business. Throughout my dance career I have been involved in works created by Marinda Davis, Ed Moore, Laura Edwards, Maleek Washington, Mandy Rogers, Kyle and Dinita Clark, Tommie Waheed, Katie Swords Thurman, Wayne Saint David, Kolbie Bowling, Kara Bode and many others. I have trained at Broadway Dance Center, Millennium Dance Complex, Edge Pac, as well as Movement Lifestyles in both Los Angeles and New York. I have also danced in a Lexee Smith’s music video and been a member of the MinaSayWhat dance team that performed as an opener for the 76ers. I have performed at Disney World twice and earned top honors within the competition dance scene.  I have placed in the overalls and won with both solos as well as group dances at both Regional and National dance competitions. I have won dance offs, title competitions, and have been nominated as a Ash apprentice runner up in Denver, Colorado, I’ve been recognized as a Nuvo Breakout Artist and have been selected multiple times as a dancer of the year finalist at Nationals. After my collegiate time dancing, I was a dance co-director and instructor for three years training competition dancers in the local area and now I am in my third year as a studio owner. Over these years I have worked on refining my choreographic vision as an artist. My works have placed and earned top awards at many competitions regionally and nationally with the most recent ones earning the top solo, duo, trio routine of the entire weekend at Sheer Dance Competition 2023, a choreography award at Team Dance 2023, best of show at I Love Dance Competition in 2022 and 2023, top junior soloist and top 3 mini soloist in Las Vegas at Legacy National Dance Competition 2024, top 4 mini soloist in Las Vegas at Legacy National Dance Competition 2025, 1st and 2nd overall in the elite level at Sheer 2026, and a choreography award at REVEL in 2024 and 2026.
